The organizing committee of DRLE International Conference in partnership with The University of Warwick (UK), Wayne State University (US), Utah State University (US) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (Malaysia) are proud to announce The Fifteenth International Conference on Developing Real-Life Learning Experiences (DRLE 2017), to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on the June 16th, 2017.


DRLE 2017 will again provide a venue to bring together a wide audience of academics, independent scholars and researchers from around the world to meet and discuss the latest ideas and views in a forum emphasizing on both respectful dialogue and fruitful debate. It is also our intention to offer the opportunity for renewing old acquaintances, making new contacts, and building a strong support and network across higher education worldwide.


 “Smart Education for Sustainable Development” is our main theme of DRLE 2017. Also, we provide a wide range of the sub-themes as shown below. We are actively seeking research papers and presentations. We look forward to your contributions to this exciting and well-established conference: DRLE 2017.

Full Papers, Short Papers and Posters

 DRLE 2017 will offer a variety of publication formats, including full papers, short papers and posters. Full papers are limited to 8 pages; short papers are limited to 4 pages; poster abstracts are limited to 2 pages. Submissions must follow the formatting instructions of their respective submission category.


Submission Instructions 

  All forms can be downloaded from and all submissions will be handled electronically. All papers will be subjected to peer review by an international program committee. The Program Committee reserves the right to determine whether a submitted paper is accepted for presentation as a long paper, short paper, or poster. All accepted papers and posters will be published in the conference proceedings.

Once your full papers, short papers, posters have been accepted, presenters have to fill out the Registration Form (Download). Please be noted that when your full papers, short papers, posters have been accepted, the presenters have to proceed to pay according to the registration fee below by May 19th, 2017 and send your proof of payment to the secretariat at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or your papers will not be published in the proceedings of the Conference. Accepted papers for presentations will be given a 20 minute time slot.  The actual presentation should last 15 minutes, followed by a 5 minute discussion period. This format is designed to encourage and facilitate the exchange of information and ideas.* Accepted posters: during the poster session, the presenter stands by the poster and discusses it with conference attendees. 

Maximum poster size: 24" by 36" 

Format: We recommend the following sizes for a poster :* Heading/Title: 2.5 cm in height (72 pt)* Name(s) and Affiliation(s) of authors: 2 cm in height (48 pt)* Body Text: 1 cm in height (28 pt)
